Briefly, 60 g of graphpac-GC (Alltech, uncoated, 80/100) was added to a solution of 25 g of silver trifluromethanesulfonate in 50 mL of anhydrous acetonitrile. The resulting heterogeneous mixture was mixed well and then the solvent was slowly evaporated to dryness (Technical Notes).
